Please carefully review the following Privacy Policy, and the Terms of Use, prior to using Hey Ants’ website, mobile or tablet application, or any other feature or other platform (collectively ("Site") operated by Hey Platforms DMCC (“Hey”). By using the Site, you hereby agree to the following Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the Privacy Policy, please discontinue use of the Site immediately. Please be aware that Hey, including all its business units, subsidiaries, affiliates and sites, entities into which our companies may be merged, or entities to which any of our assets, products, sites or operations may be transferred (cumulatively referred to as “Hey Corporate Group”), may obtain from us and be able to use your personal information. The information on the Site, including the Privacy Policy, is subject to change without notice. Visitors to the Site should periodically review the Privacy Policy as set forth herein. As you review our policy, keep in mind that it applies to all Hey brands, sites, products, services and members of the Hey Corporate Group that do not have a separate privacy policy or that link to this policy.


    When you use or interact with the Service or Site, we may use a variety of technologies that collect information about how the Service is accessed and used. This information may include:

    1. Registration Information.

      When you register, we ask you to provide certain information, which includes your username, password, email address, date of birth, gender, address, telephone number, postal code, and country (the "Registration Data"). Some features may require you to create a publicly visible Hey Profile, which may include your name and photo.

    2. Contact Information

      If you choose to participate in certain features and/or rewards offered through the Service, you may provide us, and we may collect, your contact information, including your name, mailing address, and phone number ("Contact Information").

    3. Login Information

      When you use our services or view content provided by Hey, we automatically collect and store certain information in server logs. This includes:

      1. details of how you used our service, such as your search queries.

      2. Internet protocol address.

      3. device event information such as crashes, system activity, hardware settings, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and referral URL

      4. cookies that may uniquely identify your browser or your Account.

    4. Device Information

      If you access and use the Service from a computer, mobile phone, tablet, automobile, or other electronic device, we may collect information about those devices. We may provide features that rely on the use of additional information on your device or require access to certain services on your mobile device that will enhance your Hey experience but are not required to use the Service. We collect information from or about the computers, phones, or other devices where you install or access our Services, depending on the permissions you’ve granted. You do not have to give us such permission in order to use Hey, and acceptance of this Privacy Policy does not mean you have granted us permission to access this information.1 Here are some examples of the device information we collect:

      1. Computer and Browser : certain non-personally identifiable technical information through the use of log files and servers. Web and application servers create log files automatically as part of their setup and configuration. Information in a log file may include IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, date/time stamps, MAC address, file requested, and other usage information and statistics;

      2. Tablet or Mobile Devices : hardware type and model, operating system version and type, unique device identifiers (such as VIN, MAC address, and IDFA), mobile network information including phone number, motion-generated or orientation-generated mobile sensor data (e.g., accelerometer or gyroscope), and other related information to that device;

      3. Photos and Camera : We will not access your photos or camera without first getting your explicit permission and we will never scan or import your photo library or camera roll. If you give us permission to access photos or your camera, we will only use images that you specifically choose to share with us.

      4. Location : We may collect and use approximated or realtime location information, such as IP address, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi access points and cell tower, from devices you use to access the Site or Service. We will provide you with notice and an opportunity to consent before we access and collect your realtime location information, and depending on your device manufacturer, you may have the ability to revoke this consent at any time.1 Please note that this does not include IP address. We will continue to use your IP address as described in this Policy.

      5. Voice : We will not access your microphone without first getting your explicit permission. You will always have the ability to disable microphone access.

      6. Contacts : We collect contact information you provide if you upload, sync or import this information (such as an address book) from a device. We will not scan or import your contacts stored on your device without first getting your explicit permission.1 We will only use the contact information to help you find friends or contacts who use Hey if you choose to do so. You are responsible for complying with any Local law may require that you seek the consent of your contacts to provide their personal information to Hey.

    5. Payment Information.

      If you choose to subscribe to fee-based portions of the Service, purchase a subscription to the Service as a gift, sign up for a trial, purchase add-on products or services, or make any other purchases through the Service or the Site, your credit or debit card information (such as card type and expiration date) or banking information, and other financial data that we need to process your payment may be collected and stored by us and/or the payment processors with which we work. ("Payment Information"). We may also collect some limited information, such as your postal code, mobile number, and details of your transaction history, all of which are necessary to provide the Service. In addition, the payment processors generally provide us with some limited information related to you, such as a unique token that enables you to make additional purchases using the information they’ve stored, and your card’s type, expiration date, and certain digits of your card number.


    6. Usage Information

      We collect information related to how you use the Services, including actions you take in your account (like sharing, editing, viewing, and moving files or folders). This helps us provide you with features like the "Events" page and version history.

    7. Network Information

      We collect information about the people and groups you are connected to and how you interact with them, such as the people you communicate with the most or the groups you like to share with. We also collect content and information that other people provide when they use our Services, including information about you, such as when they share a photo of you, send a message to you, or upload, sync or import your contact information.

    8. Third Party Partners.

      1. Other websites may integrate Hey widgets. We collect information when you visit or use third-party websites and apps that use our Services and/or Hey Widgets. This includes information about the websites and apps you visit, your use of our Services on those websites and apps, as well as information the developer or publisher of the app or website provides to you or us. Hey and the widget can recognize you, and the widget may be used to show personalized content or advertising. We know when you interact with a widget, and websites containing the widgets may receive this information.

      2. If you connect to the Service using credentials from a third-party Application, you authorize us to collect your authentication information, such as your username and encrypted access credentials. We may also collect Registration Data available on or through your third-party Application account.

      3. We receive information about you and your activities from third-party partners and service providers, which we use to personalize your Hey experience, to measure ad quality and responses to ads, and to display ads that are more likely to be relevant to you.

    9. Third-Party Personal Information.

      There are certain features on the Service that (e.g. gift purchases), should you choose to use them, will require you to provide personal information about the third-party recipient (“Third Party Personal Information”). We may also use Third-Party Personal Information for related purposes, such as to prevent fraud.

    10. Hey Corporate Group

      We receive information about you from companies that are owned or operated by Hey or its affiliates, in accordance with their terms and policies.

    11. Unique Application Numbers

      Certain services include a unique application number. This number and information about your installation (for example, the operating system type and application version number) may be sent to Hey when you install or uninstall that service or when that service periodically contacts our servers, such as for automatic updates.

    12. Local Storage

      We may collect and store information (including personal information) locally on your device using mechanisms such as browser web storage and application data caches.

    13. Cookies and Similar Technology

      Hey uses various technologies to collect and store information when you visit a Site or use a Service to collect additional website usage data and to improve our Services, and this may include using cookies or similar technologies to identify your browser or device. We do not require cookies for many parts of our Services such as searching and looking at public user profiles. Although most web browsers automatically accept cookies, some browsers’ settings can be modified to decline cookies or alert you when a website is attempting to place a cookie on your computer.     14. Information you choose to provide

      1. Community Posting : Any comment, photo or and information you post in Hey’s community networking features or through the Service, such as your public profile, forums, blogs, or our social networking platform can be read, collected, or used by other users of these parts of the Service. We are not responsible for the information you choose to make public in any of the community networking features available on or through the Service.

      2. Interaction with Hey : You have the ability to provide a variety of information during your interactions with us and the Service, such as emails you may send us, polls or surveys you choose to participate in, ads you respond to, emails or newsletters that you sign up to receive; and details of the queries you make and the date and time of your request. Hey or third parties acting on our behalf receive data from you whenever you provide us with any of this type of information.

      3. Special Promotions : From time to time, we may offer you the opportunity to participate in promotions such as sweepstakes, contests, offers, and/or surveys (“Special Promotions”) through the Service. A Special Promotion may be governed by a separate privacy policy and/or terms and conditions that are additional to this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use. If the provisions of the Special Promotion’s privacy policy or terms of use conflict with this Privacy Policy or the Terms of Use, those additional or separate provisions shall prevail. If you participate in a Special Promotion, we may ask you for certain information in addition to what is stated in this Privacy Policy, including personal information. That additional information may be combined with other account information and may be used and shared as described in this Privacy Policy or in the Special Promotions policy.


    Consistent with the permissions you give us to collect the information, we may use the information we collect, including your personal information as follows:

    1. to provide, personalize, customize, localize and improve your experience with the Service and products, and advertising (including for third-party products and services) made available on or outside the Service (including on other sites that you visit);

    2. to ensure technical functionality of the Service, develop new products and services, and analyze your use of the Service, including your interaction with applications, advertising, products, and services that are made available, linked to, or offered through the Service;

    3. to allow you to share and collaborate on User Content, send messages, and invite others to use the Services;

    4. to give you access to your purchase and sales history, payment transaction history, internal email and other features and functionalities;

    5. to communicate with you for Service-related or research purposes including via emails, notifications, text messages, or other messages, which you agree to receive;

    6. to communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, for informational, marketing and promotional purposes via emails, notifications, text messages using automatic dialing system, or other messages, consistent with any permissions you may have communicated to us and any governing laws of your country;

    7. to provide you with location-based features, information, advertising, or other content using your geo-location information and/or your location in relation to other Hey users;

    8. to enable and promote the Service and other services or products, either within or outside the Service, including features and content of the Service and products and services made available through the Service;

    9. to process your payment or prevent or detect fraud;

    10. to customize, measure, personalize and improve our Services;

    11. to enforce this Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use, and any other terms that you have agreed to, including to protect the rights, property, or safety of Hey, its users, or any other person, or the copyright-protected content of the Service;

    12. to provide other services requested by you as described when we collect the information; and

    13. as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy.


    We do not disclose personal information with companies, organizations and individuals outside of Hey except in the limited circumstances described here:

    1. Members of the Hey Corporate Group to provide joint content and services (like registration, transactions and customer support), to help detect and prevent potentially illegal acts and violations of our policies, to guide decisions about their products, sites, applications, tools, services and communications and to provide customized advertising. Members of the Hey Corporate Group may use this information to send you marketing communications only if you have consented to their services and will use your personal information in compliance with their respective privacy policies standards.

    2. Members of the Hey Corporate Group to prevent fraud or assess and manage risk (including to help protect your account from fraudulent activity or alert you if we detect such fraudulent activity on your account), to provide customer services (including to help service your account or resolve disputes, e.g., billing or transactional), and to comply with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing verification requirements.

    3. Third party service providers, payment processors and financial institutions under contract who help with our business operations (such as, but not limited to, fraud detection and investigations, identity verification services, payment processing, bill collection, affiliate and rewards programs, website operations, fulfilment and delivery services or ticket cancellation and reissue services).

    4. Co-branded partners for certain sites, events or listings. When we identify a co-branded partner for a site, event or listing, you agree that we may share contact information and transaction data (excluding payment information) with that partner. Information shared with a co-branded partner is subject to their privacy policy. We do not control the privacy policies of co-branded partners and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

    5. Marketing partners for certain sites, events or listings where you agree during checkout that you would like your information shared for their marketing purposes. We may share your contact information and transaction data (excluding payment information) with the marketing partner identified in checkout. Information shared with a marketing partner is subject to their privacy policy. We do not control the privacy policies of marketing partners and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

    6. Other Hey users, whether located in your country of residence or outside of your country of residence, as necessary, appropriate, or as authorized by your use of our Services.

    7. Local and foreign law enforcement or regulatory agencies, other government officials or authorized third-parties, in response to a verified request relating to a criminal investigation (i.e. a subpoena, court order or substantially similar legal procedure) or alleged or suspected illegal activity or any other activity that may expose us, you, or any other Hey user to legal liability, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary for the prevention or detection of crime, the capture or prosecution of offenders, or the assessment or collection of tax or duty. In such events, we will disclose information relevant and necessary to the investigation or inquiry, such as name, address, telephone number, email address, IP address, fraud complaints, sales and/or purchase history or payment transaction history.

    8. Third parties commencing, or involved in, a legal proceeding if they provide us with a subpoena, court order or similar legal document, or if such disclosure is necessary for the purpose of obtaining legal advice or is necessary for the purposes of establishing, exercising, or defending legal rights. You should also be aware that courts of equity, such as U.S. Bankruptcy Courts, may have the authority under certain circumstances to permit your information to be shared or transferred to third parties without your permission.

    9. In legal or administrative proceedings when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) our rights or property.

    10. Credit bureaus to which we might report information about your account, including information on late fee payments, missed fee payments or other defaults on your account that may be reflected in your credit report, as allowed by applicable law. We may share information about you in order to check your creditworthiness and solvency.

    11. We may share your information with other third parties with whom we have business relationships and, in some cases, we cannot control or know their privacy practices. By visiting our sites, you affirmatively consent to our collection, use, and distribution of your data.

    12. Other third parties to whom you explicitly ask us to send your information (or about whom you are otherwise explicitly notified and consent to when using a specific service).

    13. Other than as set forth in this policy, we do not share your personally identifiable information with other companies, apart from those acting as our agents in providing our service to you, and which agree to use it only for that purpose and to keep the information secure and confidential.

    14. We may share (provide and receive) aggregate information, which is not personally identifiable, with others. This information may include demographic data such as the gender and/or geographic location of groups of users, but it will not include personal information (such as your name or email address). We use aggregate demographic information about our audience in order to improve our service, for research purposes, marketing/promotional purposes and/or for industry reporting purposes, among others.


    By accepting this privacy policy, you expressly choose to receive certain communications from us and third parties, and you expressly agree to the privacy practices described herein. Our sites may also provide you with additional specific opportunities to select communications you wish to receive. You have a choice about how we use personal information to communicate with you, to send you marketing information, provide you with personalized advertising, and whether you want to stay signed into your account. Certain settings in your account will allow you to manager your information and communications as follows:

    1. Personal information. : If you are a registered user of our Services, we provide you with tools and account settings to access, correct, delete, or modify the personal information you provided to us and associated with your account. You can also permanently delete your Hey account. If you follow the instructions here, your account will be deactivated and then deleted. When deactivated, your account, including your name, username, and public profile, is not viewable on For up to 30 days after deactivation it is still possible to restore your account if it was accidentally or wrongfully deactivated. Absent a separate arrangement between you and us to extend your deactivation period, after 30 days, we begin the process of deleting your account from our systems, which can take up to a week. Cancellation or deactivation of your account does not ensure complete or comprehensive removal of the content or information you may have posted or otherwise made available publicly on the Service while you were a registered user. Keep in mind that search engines and other third parties may still retain copies of your public information, such as your user profile information and public comments, even after you have deleted the information from the Services or deactivated your account. We also may retain information from accounts disabled for violations of our terms for at least a year to prevent repeat abuse or other violations of our terms.

    2. Hey Profile Visibility. : When you register for the Service, your profile and listening activity will be public. When the visibility of your Hey profile is set to public, the Service automatically publishes your listening activity to your profile. We provide you with the ability to change the degree of visibility of your Hey profile in your account settings. Please note that changes to the visibility of your Hey profile do not have any impact on the advertising you may see if you use the ad-supported version of the Service.

    3. Geo-Location Information. : If you do not want us to collect your precise geo-location information, you may prohibit the sharing of this information or you can opt out of sharing this information at any time by changing the relevant preferences and permissions on your device. If you elect not to share precise geo-location information with us, you may still access our website and Services, but your ability to use certain features may be significantly limited. Even if you do not provide us with consent to collect precise geo-location information from your computer or mobile device, we may use your IP address, or other geo-location information that you provide us with (such as your city or zip code), to infer an approximation of your location when using certain features of the Hey services, such as searching for items in your area.

    4. Your Email Preferences. : When you register for the Service, you may elect to receive promotional, marketing, or other similar emails tailored to your interests. You have the option to change this election in the Settings section of our Service. We will send you transaction confirmation emails and other Service-related announcements when it is necessary to do so. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account.

    5. Public Information. : Information that is publicly available, such as playlists, may be used, re-shared, or linked to by others on the Service or across the web based upon your settings. Remember that even if you remove a playlist or make a playlist private, others who already subscribe to it or who otherwise have access to it may continue to have access to it. Playlists and other information added to your profile may include personal information, such as username, which could enable other persons to find you within the Hey Service or other services.

    6. Push Notifications. : Upon download of certain Services, you are provided the option to opt into receiving push notifications from Hey on your device and within the application. If you no longer wish to receive notifications from us, you can, where applicable, change your preferences by logging into your account or by disabling notifications in your device settings.

    7. Advertising : We do not allow third parties to track or collect your personal information on our sites for their own advertising purposes without your explicit consent. If you do not wish to participate in our ad-customization programs, you can opt-out by following the directions provided within the applicable advertisement. The effect of an opt-out will be to stop targeted advertising, but it will still allow the collection of usage data for certain purposes (e.g. research, analytics and internal online services operation purposes).

    8. Automatic Friending : If you elect to sync any third party profile and/or your address book with your Hey Account, you will automatically become friends on the Site with other users in your contacts or address book who use the Site and Service. Your public information will be shared with your friends, and vice-versa. You can disable the automatic friending feature and your sharing preferences in your account settings.

    9. Withdrawing Consent : If you withdraw your consent for the use or disclosure of your personal information for purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, you may not have access to all of our Services and we might not be able to provide you all of the Services and customer support offered to our users and authorized under this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.


    We are committed to protecting your information by using technical and administrative security measures (such as firewalls, data encryption, and physical and administrative access controls to the data and servers) that limit the risk of loss, abuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, and alteration. While we take data protection precautions, no security measures are completely secure, and we do not guarantee the security of user information. If you submit personal information to any of those websites, the privacy statements and practices of those websites govern their use of your information. We cannot guarantee the privacy or security of your information once you provide it to a third party and we encourage you to evaluate the privacy and security policies of any third party before entering into a transaction and choosing to share your information.


    Our websites are general audience websites, and our Services are not intended for children under the age of 14. Hey prohibits registration by, and does not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 14 years of age. In the event we obtain actual knowledge that we have collected information from children under the age of 14, we will take measures to remove such information from our servers.
